Adding a New Product (Simple Product)

  1. Go to Products → Add New.
  2. Enter the Product Name.
  3. Write a detailed Product Description (material, care instructions, notes).
  4. Under the General tab:
    1. Set a Regular price.
    2. Optionally set a Sale price if the item is discounted.
  5. In the Product data box, ensure Simple product is selected
  6. Under the Inventory tab:
    1. Set an SKU (unique product code) if provided.
    2. Enable Manage stock? if you want the system to track stock.
    3. Set the Stock quantity only if you enable manage stock.
  7. Write a shorter Short Description that summarises the item in 1–2 lines.
  8. On the right side:
    1. Select one or more Product Categories.
    2. Set a Product Image (clear, front-facing photo).
    3. Add gallery images if needed (additional angles or close-ups).


  9. Click Publish to make the product live, or Save Draft if it isn’t ready yet.
